As C.J. Toledano (left) hoists himself up the improv ladder at the Second City conservatory, he’s also flexing his comedic muscles as a stand-up. So it’s no surprise he’s looking to follow in the footsteps of Curb Your Enthusiasm star Jeff Garlin (right). The HBO funny man manned the mike all over town in the late ’80s while also trying to strike gold at Second City.
Toledano, for example, used Twitter to update his readers recently regarding this pressing event: “It’s free donut day at Dunkin Donuts. I got one at 3am, went to sleep and now I’m going to get another. This lifestyle pays off.”
